Well tonights our first of two preseason games. We're playing Houston in Houston and Parker and TD won't be playing.

Rockets came out on fire in the first but we closed out the quarter strong. We're playing decent right now but Scola is just killing us every time he touches the ball.

So far Ford's looked really good running the point. He's pushing the ball up court, doing a good job of setting up the offense and he's not turning the ball over.

Anderson's also looked great. He's come out super aggressive on both ends.

The rookies have looked a little tenative so far, but they've made some good plays.

Blair's missing way too many layups.

Splitter with another sleek move, and against Thabeet, too.. who has let off with the foul trouble he got into

pre-season, yeah... but Splitter's been impressive tonight

Spurs looked kinda bad tonight. But once they get Duncan and Parker they'll be fine.

Damn I really wish we have some sort of shotblocking or athleticism from our bigs. I'm thinking none of our bigs can block shots or catch an alley oop. They're too grounded to the floor.

The one guy that impressed me was James Anderson. Granted, he didn't make his shots, but he was confident in making plays and it looks as if he was the best shot creater other than Manu. And I'm pretty confident we won't see Bonner being relegated to mop up minutes. He's nothing special, but atleast he's solid and he stretch the floor ALL THE TIME. Splitter and Blair disappears between quarters way too much.

I didn't catch the complete game, so probably missed most of Anderson... I saw him play some good d, and miss a couple jumpers, get to the line... he was pretty aggressive

Splitter should provide a shotblocking presence... but, since 2008 we've really lacked an agile or solid shot altering presence next to Duncan. They've all been undersized or unathletic, for that role.

That's the main area where this FO has just... let all oppurutunities fall by the way side... and it's been pretty depressing in Duncan's last half of his career.

If we keep starting Bonner, we'll run into that problem in maximum form.

Frank Hassell looked like he is what the Spurs are lacking, a legit sized bruiser who knows how to play and has some skills.

Hope he gets more time in the 2nd preseason game.

I wasn't overly impressed with Hassell and I doubt he's the answer to any of our problems.

Well it looks like TP's in game shape. 11 points, 4 assists in 11 minutes.

Should trade Bonner for Tolliver... Adelman would like him because he can shoot better

I am all in for the Bonner/Tolliver swap but that won't happen as long as Pop is in SA
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”
