I am wondering what fans of other teams think about the Mavericks getting Lamar Odom from the Lakers for essentially a bag of jelly beans. Does this strike you as odd?

Certainly appears odd but after the rescinded deal for Chris Paul Odom made his feelings known and it became obvious he is on his way out. Still, if I was the Lakers, I wouldn't deal him to a Western Conference rival, the team that swept me in the playoffs, and for nothing on top of that. What's the conspiracy behind it anyway?
