Clippers were getting carried by the refs at the end of that game. Red hot shooting gave us the W tonight to overcome the ridiculously lopsided officiating in the last 10 minutes.

Clippers did not make a field goal in the last 10 minutes of the game (besides that worthless stat pad dunk the Spurs allowed Griffin to get). All of their points in the last 10:11 minutes were on free throws. Spurs were only allowed to take 8 free throws in that time, but 6 of them were intentional takes by the Clippers. So 2 "real" free throws for us, 11 for them.

So I look at that two ways. 1: obviously, the refs were horrible, allowing the Clippers to push and hack us all night and only got called once for pushing (despite doing it at least 8 times that I personally counted) and 2: The Spurs defense locked the Clippers the **** down in the last 10 minutes, forcing the refs' hands to keep them in it with whistles and free throws.

Either way, Spurs just sealed the tiebreaker over the Clippers for the season, so even if we tie at the end, we get the higher seed and HCA against them.

Also, I forgive Gary "right in ya mouf" Neal for choking on those two free throws at the end. He hit at least 4 big shots tonight.

Green was key defensively, Parker was really good and basically put the team on his back, Duncan was a like a crane getting boards and defending, Bonner played a fun game and actually was a factor defensively against Blake multiple times (including a few times by himself)

TP couldn't score on K-Mart late... credit to K-Mart for playing some great defense tonight in a number of ways

Bonner, DEFENSE? How dare you suggest that!? . . .but it's actually true. Bonner looked like ass on Griffin early, but then played surprisingly well on him late. Blake was lucky to get bailed by the refs multiple times to try and overcome Bonner's suffocating defense!

K-Mart imo didn't play that well. He just got away with tons of hacks and pushes. He blocked Duncan's elbow on that shot int he 4th and it was no call for some reason, and kept pulling Duncan's jersey on rebounds. Never got called for a damn thing. Easy to play D' when you're allowed to break so many rules.

Well, he does play dirty like that sometimes, I missed that stuff I guess... could of been a foul on the Duncan shot, though.

Just realized, Duncan played 41 1/2 minutes last night against the Clippers. Pop and Timmy must've wanted that game badly.

The Clips and Mav's are both closing in on us and we needed that win to seperate ourselfs from the rest of the pack and with Splitter getting hurt Duncan was pretty much forced to play big minutes.

Its going to be interesting to see what happens with the rotation now. Duncan's do for a night off but with Splitter out we can't really afford to give Timmy any rest.

They waived Thomas weeks ago.

And what's so great about Fesenko? I've never heard of him, so I googled his stats and see he's never played more than 8 minutes a game in his 5 year career.

Fesenko's a big body that block shots and rebound. Not a great player but he'd fill a need.

I could see Thomas getting recalled again.
