Well, thanks Pop. Throw away an easily winnable game for a 1% better chance of winning the next one. Such a great idea! Because the next two games are more important than the last one. . .oh wait, no they're not. They count the exact same amount.

So Pop just intentionally threw away our lead in the loss column for no **** reason. Does Pop want to play OKC and Miami in the playoffs without HCA that badly? He should've just rested people against LA, so they wouldn't see what we were fully capable of in person just yet, if he really wanted to rest people that badly.

Hate how the refs steal this game from us.

We got a lot of FTAs yesterday, so I fully expected Utah to get a massive FTA disparity tonight. Of course, we got a lot of FTAs because the Jazz hack. . a LOT. Though tonight, the Jazz got a lot tonight on some very ticky tack calls. . .even some phantom foul calls in the fourth. And we weren't getting **** for calls.

Anyway, I don't blame calls, I blame Pop for not even bringing one of our stars to the table. We're lucky it was even close. What, did he really expect Jackson to carry the load? lol. He choked all game long. Dude shoots, 15% from the field, bricking 11 times, and had more turnovers than assists. What an asset. If this is what "unleashed Jackson" looks like, I think it's time to kick his ass back into the doghouse and tie that leash on tight.

Um, actually Pop didn't throw this game away, we almost won it with the bench players. You must have not seen the game if you thought we were lucky it was close. Utah were lucky they won it. We missed a lot of makeable shots and the dubious foul calls in the 4th sealed it. That foul they called on Jackson when Millsap was driving from the corner was absolutely ridiculous. And on the other end Splitter got fouled on one or two layups and they didn't call it.

Not gonna blame the refs on this.

Jazz are obviously more physical and looked to get to the paint more than us. Aside from their post up games, they were attacking the rim. The aggresor got the calls. Us? Well, there were calls that probably wasn't called, but it goes both ways. It's not like the Jazz got every call either. We didn't get to the line much because... well.. we didn't attack the rim. I can't recall anybody last nite who attacked the rim. Without Parker and Manu, it's always on Gary Neal to penetrate and Neal never looks for contact. He always finishes with pull up shots and floaters. Same with Danny Green who isn't a slasher type that looks for contact. We didn't get to the line because we didn't deserve to go there.

Game was won because we had trouble putting the ball at the basket, and then Devin Harris got amazingly hot with those back to back transition threes. That was just a killer right there. I catch myself screaming at my laptop saying "What the F???" Jazz needed and wanted this game. They deserved to win. We were resting up and we deserve the loss.

I'm looking at the conference standings right now. I don't see the "almost won" column. Can you point it out to me? All I'm seeing is Win and Loss columns, and an L1 next to our current streak.

Oh wait, there isn't an "almost won" column. Just wins and losses. And we lost.

Don't blame the refs. We got over 40 FTAs the game before. Just playing Ginobili or Parker and resting the other and Duncan would've resulted in a W. Now there's only a very tiny chance we will end up with HCA against OKC and/or Miami. Their remaining schedules are much easier than ours. We needed that extra loss to work with. But it was just thrown away on a very beatable team. Talk about a complete travesty. He should have thrown a game away against LA or Memphis. Games we would've had maybe slightly better than a 50/50 chance of winning anyway. Not a game we basically had a 80-90% chance of winning. Huge coaching error imo.

And I completely agree with co_laper. The Spurs deserved this loss because we were resting up and didn't take them seriously enough. In the end, a win vs the Jazz is worth the same as a win vs the Lakers or Grizzlies in the standings. And Pop just threw it away.

That was a response to your comment that we were lucky to be in the game and I didn't see it that way. Of course, a loss is a loss even if you "almost" won it.
