Re: Manu AMA on Reddit
I missed the live interview as well but it was a pretty interesting AMA he answered a ton questions.
I found this one particularly interesting though:
Question:
Answer:
Crazy that he didn't know the draft was going on.
I found this one particularly interesting though:
Question:
Ginobiliiiiiiiiiii!!! Hey Manu. First of all, please finish your career in San Antonio. Second, I wanted to ask you what the draft process was like for you. You are arguably the biggest draft steal ever. Did you expect to be drafted? Why were you drafted so low?
Answer:
I really hope so, too.
I didn't even know it was draft night. I was in Brazil, playing for my national team and the team manager woke me up with the news. I couldn't believe it. Didn't expect it at all.
Crazy that he didn't know the draft was going on.

Re: Manu AMA on Reddit
Yea the one about not knowing the draft seems ridiculous.
He seems loyal to the Spurs organization and about trying to stay there... he answered it multiple times. Also liked his comment about how he never hated the Suns. Someone also asked him about flopping, but Manu, unfortunately, did not reply to that one
.
Mark Cuban did one of these before. Try a search on google. It was pretty good... a lot about the intricacies of the league, especially reffing.
