Blow up the team!

Post#1 » by TwentyOne920 » Sat Mar 9, 2013 4:55 am

Too old, too unathletic. Should have traded Splitter for Jeremy Evans.

Why didn't the team rebuild after the 2008 WCF? It was clear at that point the Spurs weren't going anywhere.

I don't listen to what others say about you. You are humorous. Don't go changin'.

I didn't expect us to lose to Portland. And now, we're gonna have OKC next. And with Tony still being out, we might actually lose out on the top spot. We'll need that number 1 seed againts OKC in WCF.

Hmm. What good did HCA do against OKC last year? I personally don't care where we finish, I just want us healthy and prepared come playoff time.

Well, if you want to put it that way as if nothing is important other than health, what good did health do againts OKC last year? We were as healthy as a horse. I mean, you can't deny that having HCA can only help us. There's no way that having HCA hurts us and I'd want each and every advantage we can have againts any team, especially OKC and hopefully Miami. This isn't 2005 or 2007.

We were healthy but we weren't prepared. OKC took two games to figure us out and once they did it was game over.

In theory, of course HCA helps. But how often have we, or any team for that matter, won the title as the 1 seed?

Weren't prepared?

That's a new one. First time I've ever heard anybody use that as an excuse.

 This team is maddeningly inconsistent.

Beat OKC in a "statement game" then drop games to POR and MIN by a combined 54 point margin. Wow.

We did sit Kawhi and Duncan tonight and basically played the bench the whole game. I'd write tonight off as a chance for the big guns to rest and move on. Two bad losses without our best player aren't going to define this team.

We really need Manu to start getting on some sort of a groove. He's incredibly inconsistent this year because of injuries and other stuffs.

By beating OKC we gain a full game on them in the playoff race. Resting guys in a B2B on the road is a good move.

ima start posting here more since im banned from the other ST site upstairs hahahaa...

after this season whatever goes, i would prefer management to start rebuilding around KL and stop with the loyalty contracts to the TOSB players on the team...seriously i could care less about them, there time is up and we should be looking at the future.....if they decide to keep the roster in tact, i would prefer they solve that backup PG situation, maybe go out and get beno udrih if his a free agent, we wasted 7 years of draft picks and not one performed to the standards of the teams needs beside tjford who was serviceable...

watching KL play is better then watching the hero wannabees on this team going into god mode at the expense of the team win...stuff the fake ass leader of the spurs mvp candidate who lays an egg disappearing act...
