After leaving Serbian team Partizan, San Antonio Spurs draftee Davis Bertans has signed with Spanish club Baskonia for 3-years according to the team.
It now seems if the Spurs want to bring him over to the NBA, they’ll have to buy him out, but his contract does have an NBA buyout option, after each year.
Bertans will now be playing alongside Spurs draftee Adam Hanga, who also plays for Baskonia at the moment.
I like the move for him. Heads to far more competitive league, has a buyout after every year and he'll be playing with Hanga so that's one less boxscore/highlight real that I have to watch.
