GT: Jazz vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Sun Jan 18, 2015 3:25 pm

When: 7:00 PM ET, January 18, 2015
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

This should be an easy one for us but this Jazz team has already beaten us once this year and we can't let that happen again.

We can't play down to their level like we did last time.

Go Spurs!!

We are definitely looking better, then again it is the Jazz. It being such a lopsided contest kind of skewers the stats.

Kawhi had a few stretches where he looked unstoppable. He didn't shoot a great percentage though.

I thought it was interesting Pop played JaMychal at the 3 for a stretch. At least I think he was at the 3 when Bonner and Ayres were on the floor with him.

Offense didn't look great but we dominated the game anyway. Leonard was out of control at times and he got a little steal happy on the defensive end but overall he had a great game.

I was really impressed with Gobert though. Kid's going to be a monster.

Totally agree about Gobert. The refs gave him no respect, but he was productive because he hustles. The Jazz didn't post him up much, I wonder what his offensive game looks like? Loved his rebounding and D.
