Well.. I expect nothing less than a championship because this year will be our best chance. We've been rejected by so many free agents over the years that I don't expect us to get any big names again for the next 5 decade. Next year when there will be a lot of FA and the cap going up, I'm just really not sure if we'll get someone as big a name as LMA is. So again, this seems to be our best chance to have Duncan/Manu go out with a ring, and anything less is a failure. The least I can take is a loss in the Finals to Lebron on a revenge mission.

I am more worried about the bench. The Spurs could had missed the playoffs because of injuries last year. Just because you won't sign big dogs, does not mean the Spurs could not use an another Bellinelli type next year.

I will feel much better about our shot at championship when we sign additional wing and 3rd string pg.
Still I wouldn't celebrete just yet, at laest 3 other teams are in that race with us.
When the individual feels, the community reels.

We are still relevant in the conversation and that's good enough for me. A lot of luck has to happen with a championship run including injuries so I'll wait until April to get over-excited.

IF the team is able to stay relatively healthy, we will be in good position. But, again it comes down to health for me.
