GT: Bucks vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Wed Dec 2, 2015 4:22 pm

When: December 2, 2015 6:30 PM MT
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio TX

We've been money at home so far this year but this is still a dangerous Bucks team. Their defense has been getting better over the last couple games and they have a lot of weapons on the other end. Should be a good one.

Go Spurs!!

10-0 at home now after this one. There are some flashes of brilliance on offense but it is pretty messy at times.

The team is still finding a way to mix their usual one extra pass teamwork with the 'give the ball to Kawhi and watch him do his thing' and now the pass the ball to Aldridge just inside the three point line and let him launch jumpers.

I don't like how many jumpers Aldridge takes but it is important that he takes and makes them because the way he spaces the court has helped Kawhi a lot so far. Something the media seem to have missed in flat out crediting Kawhi for his improvement.

Give how new all of this is, we can only be super excited and positive to see where it will be come play off time.

And how good is Jonathon Simmons? I thought he'd not play a single game but his athleticism and attacking game has forced him into the rotation. A Kawhi to Simmons alley-oop today? Who would have thought!

He's been amazing in his limited minutes. I like Slo-mo but Simmons should be getting all of his minutes right now.

Another great defensive effort and the offense showed some flashes at times as well. We also did a great job of cutting down on the turnovers and controlling the tempo of the game.

I'd like to see us go small a little more after the Memphis game today. It'll help get our shooters going and speed things up a bit.
