Pops to coach West All-Star team

Gregg Popovich has been named head coach of the Western Conference All-Star team.

Because Steve Kerr coached the team last season, the San Antonio Spurs get the honor with the second best record.

Luke Walton led the Warriors to a 39-4 record in Kerr's absence.

I had no idea that you can't coach the All-Star team two years in a row. I'm sure Pops is pumped for this.

If I was him I'd stay Curry at Centre...

I agree though, I bet he wishes it wasn't him. The All star game has become a huge joke. Even the early 2000's and onwards were in fact with guys like Shaq and Mutombo shooting threes.

Start Curry at center and make him play all 48 lol.

I agree the games a joke and I won't watching. The only thing I really like watching is the 3 point shootout.

Put Curry, Thompson, Green, Westbrook and Durant out there in a full court press for 48 minutes....... Profit.
