Post#1 » by Nolan » Sat Mar 26, 2016 2:57 pm

When: 6:00 PM MT Mar. 26th 2016
Where: Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City, OK

Leonard, Aldridge, Parker, Duncan, and Ginobili have all already been ruled out for this so this should be interesting.

Go Spurs!!

I'm surprised everyone is resting against the Thunder even though 2nd is a lock. If there's a chance someone plays lets announce it here.

Hanging in there at half time. Mills and West have been good. Simmons is aggressive as always and Boban doing pretty good.

I don't get Danny Green. He really can't get much worse % wise yet twice he pretty much refused to shoot hail Mary's at the end of the 24 and also half. He fumbled the ball a couple times, held the ball while 'looking to drive' (in a Danny Green kind of way) and just generally disrupts the flow if he isn't either shooting as soon as he catches or passing it on.

Martin is a bit lost again, not knowing when to shoot and sometimes forcing it up but he still looks to be a good fit.

Getting hammered right now. Now answer for Durant, Westbrook.

Boban is not a good defender unfortunately. He gets lost following the ball rather than his man. They've also got him too far out on offense and surprisingly his defender is pushing him and forcing him into fade away hook shots. Maybe he isn't as strong as he looks.

I think this was always going to be a loss but we were supposed to take positives away. The only positive so far is West showing he can bang down low and handle the minutes when called upon.

Green looks hopeless, Anderson is a huge liability on the floor, especially on D and Martin hasn't got going.

Yeah, I just can't defend Danny Green anymore. I didn't watch the game so I don't know how the offense was flowing but to go 1-6 and 0-4 from three when EVERYONE is out but him borderlines on ridiculous. This is the time to step up if you have it in you and he just doesn't seem to.
I know everyone played poorly but Green reminds me more and more of Richard Jefferson. You wait and wait for SOMETHING to happen, anything! But it never does and he just continues to be useless.

Didn't really watch much of this one, but what I seen was what I expected our bench got beat by a very good team.

Yeah and there doesn't appear to be any easy fixes for his issues on that end either, he's just a massive (pun intended) liability outside of the paint. I'm sure he can be molded into a decent help defender, but he'll just never be quick enough to be plus on that end.
