Aww come on, the Spurs are NOT weak. Houston is the definition of weak. The Spurs are a formidable team and command respect. Both teams are having historic seasons. Good luck in the playoffs.

From at Ive seen this year we have just taken advantage of a weak overall league. It doesn't matter how good we are if we are 5 notches below the best team. The Warriors beat us like a drum not once, not twice but 3 times. I hope this is all some plot by Pop to motivate us for the playoffs but I don't think even he could pull that off. There is no way between the officials, the league and the sorry way we play against good teams that I can see us winning a game on the road against the Warriors so that means we have zero chance. Honestly, if we were 42-40 I would feel better about my chances if we just competed with them but we don't.

I simply cannot agree with you. The Spurs are a very disciplined team and anything can happen in the playoffs. There's no guarantee Spurs or Warriors make it to the WCF. If we do meet up and the Warriors lose to the Spurs that's nothing to be ashamed of and it shouldn't be should the Spurs lose to the Warriors. Anyway, if a loss is going to come in a series, personally, I'd much rather lose to the Spurs rather than the Clippers. Losing to the Spurs made me respect them. Losing to the Clippers made me hate them even more.

I get what you're saying. I"m just a bit frustrated with how we played right now. I don't mind losing to the Warriors, they are a great team. But I hate that we didn't even compete in 3/4 games we played. Yeah we can sleepwalk through games and beat half of this league because its so bad right now but there are some things very wrong with us offensively that I think people tend to overlook because we are winning so many games. I'm in total agreement with losing to the Clippers though. They are just an unlikable group of guys.

Just finished watching this one.

We didn't deserve to win and even at our best will be hard pressed to beat the Warriors, but...

We did not show our team defense at all. Not even close for most of the game. The help defense wasn't there (something I think we made a concentrated effort to hide) and then the minutes we gave Boban, even Anderson and Martin won't happen in a series matchup.

I'll keep saying it though, we aren't winning any series without Danny Green hitting shots. And unless he magically channels his inner self from a year or two ago in the playoffs, he is gone next year.

Tough loss. If we could of scored with any amount of consistency we could of won this one. Green's inability to hit any kind of a shot is really hurting us, he's turned into a complete ball stopper.

IDK, held the W's to 14 first quarter points and 35 at the half. Seems like some good D to me. It was down the stretch where the Spurs seemed to lose their defensive intensity.

We did a pretty good job of defending in the first half, yes there were some missteps that the Warriors didn't capitalize on but overall it was very very solid half on that end.

It sounds strange but I still think we have a legit shot at beating them in a 7 game series. We've proven that we can control the pace with our size and strength now we just need to figure out how get Kawhi and LMA some easier looks.
