GT: Spurs vs. Timberwolves

Post#1 » by Nolan » Tue Mar 21, 2017 12:29 pm

When: 7:30 PM MT, Mar 21st 2017
Where: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN

Should be a fun tonight against a young and talented T-Wolves team.

The key to this one is going to be the play of the bench. The T-Wolves are not a deep team and we need to exploit that.

Go Spurs!!

It truly is the dog days of the season; games like this one should be phone-ins, but we've got to win them. I'm with Nolan; lots of bench play will be good for fortifying our second unit and it'll give our starters some rest, so let's hope the starting five can get some distance early to make it happen.

danny green once again is a clown, has deer headlights putting ball onto the floor, when he stops the dribble he doesnt know who to pass it to too, and when he does? he passes it to the other cold clown LMA for a brick shot or turnover trying to catch one of danny greens weak bailout passes....u notice when he stuffs up a play defensively where he gets a foul, he chews at refs or makes stupid reaction faces, and he knows even if pop chews into his face his going to just laugh it off as usual; maybe players has already fallen accustomed to pops chewing that they dont care anymore unless ur players down the bench trying to get minutes...with whatever crap the spurs have on the bench for perimeter minutes, looks like danny can afford to be a negative outlier out there on the floor, clown needs to be put into the doghouse....

that final 3minutes of the 4th quarter, which part of give kawhi the ball at all costs and g et out of his way dont these other players understand? instead they trying to make something out of nothing with their limited skillset...aka lma, green = turnovers

why is kyle anderson continue to be buried on the bench...i take his length and ball control over anyone on the bench not name ginoboli, at leasts he doesnt do stupid turnovers, has weak offensive game; but he aint bricking shots or taking shots away from the main guys on the floor with him. his defense doesnt look like a problem, yet everytime h e makes 1 mistake pop pulls him out, while danny green, patty, parker, or whoever has so much leeway to continue to make stupid force plays get minutes...

Ugly game but in the end it was a win and that's all that really matters at this point in the season. Kawhi really carried us in that last quarter.

Also it's nice to see LMA getting his touch back. He's been great since returning from his heart problem.
