How do you think about Derrick Rose in a spurs uniform?

I just stumbled upon this video last night. I didn't think much of it until realizing how good of a fit this could potentially be.

Preferably, I would like to see them make an attempt to go after George Hill, Jeff Teague, and even waste some time inquiring about Chris Paul... But of course we don't have the greatest quantity of cap space.

San Antonio isn't the one to go out and sign free agents with such off-court antics and but clearly there needs to be an upgrade at the PG position, and Dejounte Murray is still a little ways away from being that full time PG. I hope pop starts giving him some good solid backup minutes when Parker rests as a 6th man

What else do you all think?

I really don't like Rose. He isn't an intelligent player and I really don't think he'd be a good fit here.

We could use someone like him, a bigger more athletic and aggressive PG but not him.

Hill would be perfect but I can't see it happening unless Tony retires.

Don't trust Hill's injury record, i'd go for Teague

The injuries are a bit of a concern but Hill would be the better fit. Teague needs the ball but Hill is perfectly fine playing off it.

Hill's the best of the three being discussed here for our system. Rose wouldn't work out, I don't think; he'd have a hard time laying down the ego and I think he'd be a worse version of Tony, in terms of trying to rekindle the magic of his prime to the detriment of the offense.

Plus Rose's history of injuries continues to rack up. Torn meniscus of the knee today and is out for the remainder of the season.

That's going to kill his value in free agency. He was having a relatively healthy season (by his standards).

At this point, Rose will likely be treat as radioactive(lack of dramatic word). I can't see any team in the league offering him a contract no longer than a year. History of injuries kills finances and careers in the long run.
