GT: Spurs vs. Magic

Post#1 » by Nolan » Thu Oct 26, 2017 9:22 pm

When: Oct 26th, 2017
Where: Amway Center, Orlando FL

Normally I'd chalk up a game against the Magic as a sure win but this team has been on fire to start the season. Gordon and Vuc have been playing great and both are going to be tough covers for us that could create some issues.

Another big game from LMA would be helpful as well. If he gets hot that may force the Magic into going bigger (bringing in Biz to defend LMA) and that will work in our favor.

This should be a fun one!

Go Spurs!!

Also this will be a good opportunity for Murray to go off. Looks like Payton is going to be out and neither Augustin or Mack are properly equipped to stop him.

Orlando's looked solid thus far. I'm with Nolan in hoping Murray takes the opportunity to bounce back from a forgettable game against Miami.

Should be a win with a few scrap spurts from the Magic.

Were due for a loss... Orlando's ceceptable to be too athletic and "care-free" against a big-name team like the Spurs. Fournier plays like prime Ray Allen. Surprised Gordon didn't have a bigger game. I do like that Gay contributed in other areas when his shot wasn't going.

Spurs got basically nothing from the wing offensively.

Simmons continues to play well for them as 6th man, definitely one of the very best off the bench this year.

Didn't watch the game. I need to get League Pass.

Given the change of management in Orlando, I'm not surprised that they've beaten the Spurs and Cavs this year. Still we were humiliated. Simmons must feel gratified. Congrats to Simmons and the Magic.

Would we have lost if Kawhi were healthy?
