GT: Bucks vs Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Thu Nov 9, 2017 1:32 pm

When: Nov 10th, 2017
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio TX

This should be an interesting one. Looks like Bledsoe is going to make his debut in this one and that's probably going to make a tough matchup even tougher.

The key to this one is going to be dominating the paint as it has been for us basically every game this season. Giannis is going to be a problem but the Bucks front court is super thin and LMA and Pau should man handle whoever the Bucks throw at them.

Go Spurs!!

We could sure use Kawhi's defense on the Freak in this one; I like our overall size advantage, but I imagine Bledsoe's going to look to have a big/statement game, too, so we've got to bring our top-shelf D.

Let's get it, Spurs!

A national TV game so Its probably not going to go well, but I'll keep my hopes up. If anyone can make up a plan to slow down Giannis its Pop.

Irritating loss as this was a winnable game despite sloppy lapses. Alphabet is stunning to watch. Imagine him with a great coach  Too many quick shots without looking for better options. Seems like Spurs didn't run as much in the second half without the ball, and the Bucks outhustled them for loose balls. What Spurs could do also has to do with what the opponent gives them, but Spurs settled too much for Js and it's one of the things that cost them. Not 100% sold on LMA's sometimes tentative? or passive game. Loved what Anderson has brought. Manu amazes me.

Hope they tighten things up in terms of fewer turnovers and commitment to team ball on both ends. On to the next one...
