WHERE: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
TV: FOX Sports Florida, FOX Sports SW
VEGAS: O/U 206, Spurs -10.5

A rare reprieve in this late-season schedule stretch-- believe it or not, after tonight, we only have one game left against a non-playoff team. Nothing's easy right now, though, and the Spurs and Magic have identical last-10 records, so even with Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon, and Terrance Ross all sitting for Orlando, the good guys need to bring it to win it.

We're looking up at the playoff seeds at this point, and with Leonard's return pushed back, there's not a ton of sunshine right now, so a win tonight is important.

So many options, a rare game in which we're almost spoiled for choice. Almost. Still, I'm grateful for who we've got:

We know what we need to do, just have to get it done, forty-eight minutes of execution on both ends with who we have playing.

Well, that was refreshing. Beating a Magic team that's missing its two leading scorers isn't really a statement, but I'll still take it.

We did what we needed to do. It was great to see our guys happy and cheering each other on. We played loose but focused. We established a defensive presence and didn't let up in the second half. Our D was a lot better; we didn't fall for fakes and instead got right up on them, deflected passes, got steals, rotated well, ran back on D, and limited their O rebound second chances. On O we made our 3s at a good rate finally, FG% was high as well, and capitalized for 22 points off of their turnovers. Very good game for us on both ends, one that helped re-establish our way of playing, reinforced good habits, and got some positives vibes going again.

It was great, too, seeing Kawhi up and smiling, high-fiving the reserves in the fourth. Pop, in good spirits, quipped,

I'm going to sleep well tonight. Finally. It gets more challenging from here on out, so this was a good reset going forward. I love our team. GO SPURS GO!

Like Grey said, we needed to win this and thats what they did. I really dont take much from it though.

We played better defense because it was a crappy team.

Sometimes you need to have a game like this to build confidence though, but we will be tested plenty the rest of the way.
