ESPN's story
Big ups to Aldridge for repping the good guys. I'm very proud of the way he bounced back from last season's struggles and last offseason's drama; here's hoping similar progress can be shown by other Spurs forwards with whom there may be issues.

Congratulations, LMA!
A most deserving selection for a player who not only had a resurgent season, but was also a tireless workhorse and consummate professional for us all season long. Thank you, LaMarcus!

Thanks to his being named, yet another amazing streak of excellence continues for us:
An interesting stat:

Aldridge scored double figures in 73 games, leading the team in scoring 59 times. The former Texas Longhorn is one of only five Spurs in franchise history to lead the team in scoring at least 50 times in a single season, joining Tim Duncan, George Gervin, Kawhi Leonard and David Robinson.
A Spur has now been named to an All-NBA Team 44 times in franchise history, which includes 21 First Team selections, 12 Second Team selections and 11 Third Team selections. Aldridge is the seventh player in Spurs history to receive multiple All-NBA selections, along with Duncan, Gervin, Manu Ginobili, Leonard, Tony Parker and Robinson.
