Hearing the league may be looking at this, is Aldridge really this much of a cheap-shot artist ??

Love it if they suspended him a game or two, but have to say that was a nice windup-delivery...

Let's hear SA perspective on it..

LMA isn't a cheap-shot artist, and none of us can speak to his intentions, but that doesn't look great for our guy. It won't surprise me if the league fines him or worse.

Congratulations on the comeback win last night!

Here's some multi-angle analysis. I'm just skimming it now, so I don't vouch for anything in the article.

That is a huge reach to think he did that maliciously. Aldridge is a good guy too and respects your team so I highly doubt there is anything to this at all.

And yes congrats on the win. Murray really was unstoppable late. I hope this is a great series because both teams could learn and grow a lot from it.
And its nice to be able to actually talk about the game in the game thread for a change

Grey, I'm not getting on you. I think its great that you put soo much effort into backing the team and documentation of the games like you have. You have built a nice archive of the entire season.
I just think all the twitter feeds in the game threads make it hard for people to talk about the actual game and is one of the reasons most of us don't bother anymore. Granted there are other reasons I understand, and we have always been quiet around here compared to other team's boards.

May I suggest next season we have one thread for the documentation of the games and another for discussion of the game?

I didn't take it personally at all, just acknowledging that the twitter updates of the game threads are a function of something being put on the game thread instead of just the initial post. So while last season there were a few people commenting, this season, most often it would just be the initial post. So it's arisen to fill a void of lack of discussion. I make sure to go over the threads so as to not miss anyone's posts and either respond or somehow acknowledge (or warn ha!).

There have been plenty of times where I've left the game thread unfilled till the end of the game (earlier in the season) and nobody posted anything or when Sammy started a thread and it sat empty as well. The pattern is posting the tweets at half, then posting them at the end of games. And you know what is filled in between? Nothing. There's plenty of time and space for anyone to post thoughts about the game, and that just hasn't happened. It may be off-putting to you, and if others feel the same way I welcome the feedback, but as it stands, there's Sammy and me with the threads, and every sparse now and again, someone else. So I'm not convinced that more discussion would be generated if it weren't for the twitter feeds - again, they're a response to fill a void. I don't like our guys playing and it not getting acknowledged with something.

I appreciate the suggestion, and we'll give it a go, but if that doesn't work then I guess I'll just merge.

Fair enough, I've never seen a malicious side of Aldridge so it would seem out of character. That being said, things can change in the heat of battle very quickly. Regardless what happens (if anything) by the league, NO PLAYER deserves that type of contact just for playing the game. It's not like GHarris was provoking Aldridge during the game.

Sure, I mean people were speculating after the fact. I missed it in real time and hadn't heard any official probe so that's why I asked. And now we've got some news:
