The smallest player on the court just ripped the ball out if the hands of the largest twice in a row.

Really like Tre's sneak from behind help D. And his quick passes ahead for our transition points.

4TH Q: SPURS 120

MAVS 130

Sums it up perfectly:

The goals (as I saw it) were a I get our legs under us, practice running our sets, and stay healthy - check, check, and check.

We struggled from the arc making 11-31 (6-11 in the second half, so improvement there) but got hit with a barrage of contested and uncontested 3s to the tune of 20-36. And we were still within 10 points despite being down 27 points at the arc.

And because our deficit was less than 20 points, we finish this season with a positive points differential and with more wins this season than in each of the previous two (albeit in fewer games).

Almost everyone who played scored (except for Weisy) and although he's looked more assertive, he does have to learn to stay ready after long droughts.

Keldon, DJ, and Devin were the only Spurs who reached the 30+ minute mark which is great for both reps and rest. Keldon got another 20+ point game, DJ got another couple of steals, and Devin kept impressively adding to his points total. He has been a quiet assassin since being inserted into the starting group.

We made 23-23 FT's, had 15(!) steals, and only 8TO's but we gave up 18 points on them while getting 21 on their 16TOs, both ratios we will need to keep low.

A lot was accomplished tonight as we prepare for the play-in: showing growth and development, reigniting chemistry, and staying healthy.

For a lot of reasons, this was the desired outcome, not for the guys to lose, but to make sure we can be ready to roll going forward.

NOTEWORTHY ACHIEVEMENTS
