Wright has impressed me at times with his defense, athleticism, and shooting, but hasn't done much for me at other times. Has pretty good size.
I haven't thought about him much, but I wouldn't mind if we signed him. He seems to fit the kind of wing were looking for. I just like others more.

Since getting splitter seems to be not happening this season and we likely need to bring in a player with some league experience to play a role, has anyone thought of Hakim Warrick.
I don't know how high memphis is on him but he showed he's got some game when he filled in at the 4.
He's a undersized but he's an athletic tweener and could provide some matchup problems, should be athletic enough to grab somewhere in the realm of 5-10 rebounds depending on minutes and he can run the floor.
Don't know if or how it could happen just throwing it out there.

What does everybody think about taking a look at Patrick O'Bryant? SL or camp invite. Not sure about anything more than that, maybe.
Hasn't been able to play like at all on a team that doesn't cater to true big men, has established front-court players in front of him, and supposedly Nelson doesn't like him (drafted before he got there) because he doesn't fit into his style.
He's got good center size, is young, was a highish lottery pick, and should be hungry for an oppurtunity.
I think he'd be worth a look in camps.

I'm unbelievably angry due to the Splitter situation right now. I don't think our fleet of bigs is as bad as everyone makes it out to be. If we resign Kurt, force Ian into bigger minutes and sign a mediocre big I think we'll be able to get by. I'm starting to think Kwame Brown could be a nice option at a low price. He has the athleticism to matchup against some bigs, he even matched up well against Duncan.

I really like Kwame for us in the way of his defense, size, above-average agility for a big man, and can rebound better than anybody else beside Duncan/Thomas.
Offensively it'll be easier on him with us because he will be less relied on there than with the Lakers, where he had a bigger role as a whole. And with the Lakers for most of his time there, they were still hoping/thinking he could develop into something good. Going off his potential. I think that may of still been there to a lesser degree in his last year, too. With us, he'll have a defined, set, better fitting role for him. Defensively it'll be easier on him, as well.
I just would hope and expect he works on his offensive game over the summer. To get as much improvement as possible there.

Azubuike opts out of his contract, RFA, but the Warriors also have Biedrins and Ellis to pay.

Curious minds want to know why the Spurs, picking at the tail end of the first round, are interested in Syracuse forward Donte Greene, a projected mid-first round pick
