Exactly, and he's still close to 60% TS, so nothing to worry about efficiency wise. The reason his fg% has dropped is because he's not getting shots at the rim, which is reflected in the lower FTA/game. That'll all adjust once they figure out lineups and get these spacing issues resolved.

Put it this way, I'm more than happy to have our experimental Kawhi "only" shooting 60% TS and leading us to "only" an 18-4 record.

And he's the best pick and roll scorer in the league currently.

He sure is! More Patty/Kawhi P&R please!

this Season he has been a poor finnisher even if he drive past the defender, but he always miss easy layups.expecially in crunch time......
on defence,he keep getting beat by pick & roll defence ...............

You do know how hard it is to defend a pick and roll right?

Kawhi is actually one of the best imo. He makes good decisions and is usually close enough (and long enough) to affect the shot if he is beat.

And his finishes are because he is so strong and has such huge hands. He is never going to have a soft touch on finishes. I just think he gets caught in (I was going to say two minds but) three minds now, whether to shoot or pass but also sometimes thinking about drawing a foul before hitting the shot.

Again, just his learning process.

how about Lebron James & Michael Jordan ??????????? Strong & Huge hage hand is not an excuse for not a gd finnisher..........
Another example is Shaq,Shaq also big & got Huge Hands, but he also the best finnisher around the rim................

James is no better around the rim, he doesn't have a soft touch either. He finishes a lot stronger.

Kawhi is learning when to lay it up and when to shoot his hook/runner he has going. Not every player has the same feel around the hoop. Remember he had basically zero offensive skills and now averages 24pts a game.

What more can you say? If it's older vet you say he sucks and shouldn't be a go to scorer.

Kawhi is still young, still improving. You can be frustrated sure, but for the 100th time, no player in history has improved their offense game as quickly and extensively as Leonard. We can't ask more and just need to be patient.

Being old enough to have watched a lot of young Jordan, not even the greatest player of all time was perfect.

If he didn't develope it this Season,I can't see Spurs can go deep in Playoffs

That may be true but more depends on guys like Green getting back to his Cavs finals form, Parker contributing, Pau being a consistent vet, Aldridge being the star we pay him to be, Mills hitting off the bench and Manu not being a turnover machine.

Kawhi is going to be Kawhi and even during his somewhat struggles he is still pretty damn good and reliable.

you can't rely on Role Player in Playoffs, when you are the Spurs's Leader, you need to lead them & step up when need like Timmy did in the last 20 years, hopes he won't invisible again this year like h did in the last past 2 years

Last year in 10 playoff games he averaged 22pts at 52% fg 44% 3pt, 6reb, 3ast, 1.4blk, 2.5 steals.

Invisible indeed.

So... Kawhi's last 5 games:

33.4 points per game @ 64% fg
11-21 threes @ 52% 3p
5 rebounds per game
3.2 assists per game
0.8 blocks per game
1.8 steals per game

And the best stat?

6 turnovers. That's total. 6 turnovers in those 5 games he had the ball all of that time.

MVP form right there.
