He’s wearing #18 in the Summer League so I’d assume he’s going to rock that this season too. Not crazy about the number but whatever.

Selected by the Spurs in the first round of the draft last week, the former Miami guard was blown away by the team's practice facility and all the championship banners and other signs of the team's five-championships success that adorn the building.
Honestly, my arms kind of got chills," Walker said. "I still get chills down my back, seeing the names. I came here late at night one time, seeing my locker room, seeing 'Walker IV' on the locker room, and seeing (locker nameplates for) Manu (Ginobili) and Tony (Parker). I was like, wow, these guys are amazing.
"It's surreal to me. I still to this day feel like I am at Disneyland, and I am going to keep saying that until it's business time. It's great to represent this team."
Walker was introduced to the media at the Spurs practice facility on Friday, which marked the first day of practices for the team's Utah Summer League Squad.
"The coaches, the staff, the facility, it's amazing," Walker said. "Everything is actually above my expectations. And it feels more like a family rather than individuals. Everybody is treated the same, everybody is treated with love and care. It's going great, honestly."
Walker feels the same way about San Antonio.
"Honestly, it's like no other (place)," he said. "The community has welcomed me more than I honestly expected. I went to Wal-Mart, I went to a couple of places and the fans, how much they love you and how much they take care of you, is amazing."

When Lonnie Walker IV was 8 years old, his father got tired of watching his son make a mockery of players his own age on the basketball court. Figuring a path of little resistance was doing his burgeoning little dribbler little good, Walker insisted he begin playing against teenagers.
“I was playing against 14- and 15-year-olds, just because they’re a lot stronger and a lot quicker,” Lonnie Walker IV, now a rookie first-round draft pick with the Spurs, said Sunday. “When I played against kids my age, it was a little bit unfair.”
Playing in his first Las Vegas Summer League has produced a bit of a flashback for Walker. At 19 years and — as of Sunday — 206 days old, Walker is playing against grown men in competitive action for the first time.
He was the youngest player on either team Sunday, as the Spurs defeated Washington 95-90 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Spurs summer league coach Will Hardy has been quick to point out Walker has appeared in only four games since leading Miami to the NCAA tournament in March. Including those, Walker has appeared in only 37 games since his senior season at Reading (Pennsylvania) High.... The 18th pick in the June draft after a one-and-done season at Miami, Walker vows not to let the relative spotlight glare of summer league faze him.
The Spurs expect more good than bad from Walker as his career progresses.... That’s all part of the growing process for a player still five months shy of his 20th birthday.... “He’s a very mature 19-year-old but he’s still 19,” Hardy said. “I for sure have to remind myself of that a lot.”
At some point this fall, someone will probably have to remind Gregg Popovich of the same. Walker said he talked with Popovich by phone on Saturday. The topic turned to one of the coach’s favorite topics: Dinner recommendations. It will be two years before Walker and Popovich will be able to talk about wine pairings to go with the meal.
“I kind of hope he doesn’t bring it up,” Walker said with a chuckle.
Walker figures he can handle everything else that comes with being one of the youngest players in the NBA. For most of his basketball life, he has been accustomed to being the youngest player on the court. His Vegas experience “ain’t nothing new,” he said.
