Romeo had a wide open Keldon waiting at the top of the arc and chose instead to drive into three defenders and pass out to Malaki at the right corner. Draws defenders in, makes the right pass, and we do need the youth to develop confidence, though Keldon was the simpler play. Malaki made the shot which is great for us. His shot is super flat. Something to look out for.

2ND Q: SPURS 68 LAKERS 70

On the one hand we scored another 30+ point Q. We haven't had that in a long while. On the other, we allowed an even bigger 30+ point Q to be down by a basket.

We did finish the Q on a 4-0 mini-run, but we have allowed far too many 3s all too easily. We have shown zero interest in rotating out to contest them. We keep gettin suckered into collapsing in the key with then nobody knowing who to cover out on the arc.

We are making our own shots, even on good efficiency, but we can't hope that an opponent misses or think we can just outshoot them.

Yes it hurts that our starting front court is off, but Collins and whoever we have at 4 are more than capable of getting after the boards. We continue to have a sizeable advantage here 28-17 and 9-1 on O boards.

We are ONLY 2-3FTs to their 12-13FTs. We have allowed far too many drives down the middle. We need to get more physical and fast ourselves to force the refs to whislte it in our favour.

With Keldon struggling 2-12 again, our bench is at least helping to pick up the slack. His angles with the ball off the glass are off. We need Keldon to be FAR more AGGRESSIVE.

Contest the arc. Get to the FT line. Continue to put it through the hoop.
