What's better than hitting 38? Holding our opponent to under 30. Some D mistakes but much better energy, and our D got tighter and better man and teamwise as the Q progressed.

Romeo was an energetic revelation.

Better movement with and without the ball.

Pop all IRATE on the sidelines, not sure why. Either we missed a pass or a foul was missed. Sochan needs to use the glass more, but great work on the boards to get second chances and earn the foul.

Holy **** hell, Keldon. Bobbles the ball when doubled, picks up his dribble, and instead of passing to one of three open team mates, takes a wild erratic miss.

I'm irritated today. And for some reason his game is pissing me off all the more today. He's done some nice things, but these blinders-on shots are **** frustrating.

2ND Q: SPURS 64 KNICKS 53

Am I surprised? Honestly yes. A double digit lead versus a better than .500 team on much better energy, much better overall D, taking advantage of D to O transition points as well as second chance points.

We've done well to get to the FT line 9-13 but somehow keep fouling them for 16-18. This along with some too open 3s (they only made 5, as did we, but some of theirs were to open, though the contests have been better this half overall) are keeping them in it despite us being up 11.

We have 15 assists to only 3TOs, one of our best ball protection 24 minutes this season, I think.

Everyone is shooting well for 54.3% which is fortunate because our starters have only one made 3 so far. Luckily, our bench has come through with four made 3s. our bench is back to doing it's business, outscoring theirs 23-13 so far.

Solid work on the boards, 25-16 and 5-3 on O boards. Keeping possessions alive is helping us inside for a big 38-20 points in the paint advantage as well as keeping it moving for outside chances.

Love the balanced attack throughout the ten-man unit; love the defensive cohesion.

Love the team effort on both ends. Protect the paint cleanly. Contest the arc. Stay hustling.
