1ST Q: SPURS 26 NUGGETS 38

We cut a 14-point deficit in half before succumbing to a barrage of points at the arc (5-9) but surprisingly not in the paint where we're tied 18-all.

Our 3s are a struggle - 1-8 - most of them front rimming out. We need to get our legs under us.

Five TOs was another issue.

Sochan leads us on a crisp 4-5. Good shot distribution among the starters. We need to get Malaki going.

Bench has 9 points from two Spurs.

Nine-man rotation so far. And with Blake in Austin, and Malaki starting, Tre is getting the bulk of the back-up PG duties. None for Graham in the 1ST. Yes, thank you, Pop!

Good minutes distribution.

D rotations need some communication clarity.

We need to pick up the pace and efficiency and lower the TOs. As ever, run back on D, gents!

Say what you will about Tre as a long term starter, but you can see how important he is to our cohesion. These starting games have been invaluable to his growth.
