2ND Q: SPURS 33 BLAZERS 43

Not exactly a fundamentals clinic but we chipped away at a 15-point lead.

Wemby looking more energetic, has his legs under him more, and his shot going. Leads us with 11 points on 4-5 (3-6FTs needs improving), leads us with 6 boards, including 3 on O, and leads us with 2 blocks.

We're only 2-9 from 3 and 7-35FTs along with 9TOs and 6 steals against - that's a LOT of potential points left on the floor.

Stevenson lead us with 2 assists each, which is to say, our passing and scoring is poor this game. Only 8 in total at the half.

More TOs than assists is OOF.

We did pick up the transition game towards the end of the second but it seems their speed and energy caught us on our heels and we needed near 20 minutes to adjust.

Under 39%FG has to get better with better quality shots. Malaki and Julian combining for 0-11 isn't helping. Have to find points from more speed and movement and grit. Don't ball watch. MOVE MOVE MOVE.

Dom keeps getting stuffed at the rim. He'll have to learn to use his body and angles to create space before trying to get the ball up.
