Both teams missing 3s and turning it over.

I like our energy and hustle, playing through mistakes and misses, not overthinking it too much.

We have to make quick outlet passes, we have to box out, we have to contest the arc, and finish well at the rim.

Energy, smarts, fundamentals.

Great Wemby cut. Great Zach bounce pass.

Tough FTs for Wemby but we fought for O board and got another foul. Good.

We got 1 point out of 2 chances then gave up a wide open 3.

Have to make the most of these chances.

I thought *for sure* Kelson wouldrive but he surprised with a kick back out to Devin for another 3. Nice to see the growth there.

Bassey contest, runs the floor well, gets the pass, just misses layup.

I don't have anything nice to say about anything (the game, our defense, our shot selection, the lame uniforms, the stupid looking court, this whatever it is tournament nonsense) so I'll just give you and 1s all night

2ND Q: SPURS 54 WOLVES 56

3s given up (we're down 7-6 made), 29-22 rebounds against, including 8-5 on O, only 4-8 FTs. In a close game, these stand out all the more.

This is the Wemby and Devin game. Zach is solid but has only taken 3 shots. Sochan is assertive but a poor finisher. 3-8. Keldon is only 2-6.

Tre decisions with the ball have been disappointing. Whatever the balance between being assertive and smart is he's on the wrong side of it. 0-3.

We only have 9 bench points by 2 guys, Doug and Branham. I know the latter is 3-6 but there's a reason he's second worst on the team with -6.

Cedi needs to get going.

We need to make smarter decisions, team-first plays, and abide by fundamentals: box out, use the glass on layups, fight harder and smarter to switch, rotate, and contest on D.

We need a higher D level and smarts and just one more player to be good on O.
