2ND Q: SPURS 55 CLIPPERS 66

Well FTs and O board second chance points are doing us in. We've put the to the FT line for 15-17, and three of those were fouls on 3s attempts. NINE FTs, or half of their attempts, were from three fouls at the arc. Contest from the hip or clear out. DO NOT REACH IN. We know better. Right? On the other end, we're only 5-6FTs, so we're too polite. It's pretty much the game difference right now.

But I do like that we only have 4TOs, that we are rebounding well on both ends and getting second chance points and we're getting points in transition from some D stops. The 3-2 zone has had some effect.

We have to box out better, make sure we switch and rotate out properly so we're not stuck five in the paint leaving open 3s attempts, and be more physical on both ends. MORE PHYSICAL on both ends.

Sochan is labouring out there. His thigh is wrapped up. I think it's affecting his movement. He can't seem to quickly move his legs and switch directions as well. Needs to work on his touch. He's only 2-8. He leads the team in FGAs. This shouldn't be the case. Recognize that you're not the hot hand and make sure those that have it get the ball. PASS NOW. Zero assists.

Speaking of assists, Keldon is leading starters with 4 - terrific finds of cutters, swings cross court, back passes. Nice vision and balance between scoring and sharing.

We've now established good scoring all around so that not all the pressure is on Wemby, but finding the hot hand is now optimal.

Cedi's cooking as well, with a great balance between 3s and drives. Finding the seams.

I like that we finished both Qs scoring. Nice change. We just need to be mindful of getting more paint points and not settle for outside shots as much. Get them into foul trouble. close that gap. Make a strong push to start the second half.
