You dont notice his shot mechanics as much when he's not forcing shots in traffic.

We are playing a team that's on the second game of a B2B and yet it is our opponent that has taken more shots, 28-24, a function as well of our 6TOs --five of which came on their steals -- to their 3 - so we are slower and less careful with the ball than the less well rested opponent.

Anyone who doesn't want to hustle hard has to sit.

p.s. Just noticed that Wemby and Devin have combined for 0-6, of which they are 0-4 from the 3 this Q. bad shot selection from our top two players. **** DRIVE, run some P&Rs, cuts, something... anything but settling for 3s.

You know why Wemby is SCORELESS at the half? Or why he's only 0-3? Because we're just not **** involving our generational talent in the O.

THIS IS INEXCUSABLE. WEMBY IS THE #1 OPTION. And any Spur that refuses to pass to him when he's open or when he cuts or when he has his hand up or gets into his space or is late in off ball movement to the right space should SIT in favour of any other Spur who does the RIGHT THING BY THE TEAM.

Keldon and Devin with 9 and 8 FGAs respectively, but there's NO **** WY that Wemby should get fewer shots than all but three Spurs who have gotten minutes so far.

It's no wonder we go through five minute stretches of not scoring. We're not doing basic basic things like the right guys setting screens, moving to the right spaces, making the right passes. We also don't have that elite ball handler, but that's another matter. We can still work to score in transition, pass ahead faster, cut faster, play together more.

Our 11TOs have cost us 10 points and have cost us valuable chances to score. We are down 49-41FGAs which puts greater pressure on our D. Somehow we are also down 32-22 PITP. We are lucky that our opponent is shooting atrociously from the arc.

Right now I'd put Mamu in for Sochan.

And if Sidy is on our bench, I WANT TO SEE HIM GET SOME MINUTES. Great vision, size, willing passing and good defending.

Sochan is a problem and not in a cool watch out, opponent! kind of way.

Doug and Cedi 0-5 is tough. All the more reason to give other reserves a chance. They'll at least try hard and run basic plays.

Do everything better, starting with getting Wemby the **** ball. And he should speak up about it, too. Not in a look who I am! sort of way, but just in basic best basketball play recognition sort of way.

Protect the **** ball, pass to the **** open guy, try **** harder, put the **** team first.

I do like the Sochan clapping us up, giving energy after his O board putback.
