Sure or perhaps a deadline trade to a contender. Keith Smith was just saying on a podcast about how that $11M fits nicely under MLE for several teams.

In the meantime, team is beneficiary of the lobs and tutelage.

I'd take even a lesser available to play CP3 for his knowledge alone. Plus he's a bit of a prick on the court and hopefully some of the Moxy rubs off. Not the prick part, just the competitiveness part lol Pop loves that, too, and after apparently pitching CP3 himself, it'll be interesting to see former rivals working together.

It'll be nice to have a very experienced player Pop doesn't have to teach everything to help bring along the young guys, have an extension of the coach on the court and in the locker room.

as a Spurs fan, hard to not like this.
I do believe in solid mentoring, and Spurs seem to be super high on Castle, so it’s fitting. Wemby having CP3 should make him happy to, should learn a lot from him too.

Hopefully Spurs make another solid move to conpliment this roster

People are a bit rough with cp3, but he gave it all to OKC and helped mentor SGA even knowing he was leaving soon. I’ sure he will “behave”

I love this signing, I love how the Spurs are ran. Chris Paul is really great with young teammates, he worked wonders for SGA. Even though CP3 is not a champion, keep in mind he actually knows what it takes to win. An amazing basketball mind and has that dog in him. Amazing for Wemby. Pop trying to build the biggest dynasty before he fully retires. Just a Chad.
