I know its only game one so I'll give it some time but there is no way this team is a playoff team. The same crap we watched all last year is still there and then some.

We look better when Paul and Wemby are on the floor but when they are sitting its bad.

I never really liked the guy in general but I like Paul getting in people's faces so maybe they can work some things out.
Soo much for the reports that players were going to be held more accountable this year because right now it looks just like last year.

Hopefully when we get Vassell back we can get that effing Champaigne off the floor.....

CP3 sounded good on paper, but man that dude controls the ball a lot. Not sure if he's what Wemby needs at this point in his career. I think the Spurs need to bring CP3 off the bench.

We actually need someone to control the ball more so our other guys dont turn it over constantly. I honestly dont like Paul very much at all, never have. But he is the only player on this roster that understands turning the ball over is a bad thing.

And this is one of the reasons I never enter a Spurs thread on the General Board during the season. They currently have a thread on whether Wemby is washed.

So all evidence of his play last season is wiped out because he had a bad opening night. And he did have a bad opening night taking lots of stupid 3's. However, the people who post there are like goldfish. They cannot retain any information for more than 24 hours.

You're right. People just catch random espn hot takes or see a 5 second highlight on their local news know nothing about him except that.

Even the TNT announcers last night knew next to nothing about the Spurs. They told a story when Keldon Johnson entered the game about him giving Paul the number 3 jersey, saying that the second Paul was traded he was Johnsons favorite player growing up and he literally rushed to Paul to give him the #3. Thats not what happened at all....
