Damon with the j to end the half! 50-35
Quality 1st half for sure... aside from this game being more than a usual game, obviously that last game was taken into consideration. Naturally.
Lots of guys playing well, inspired stuff
Tony looks pretty solid, especially hitting his jumper
Tim with a couple nice, loud dunks
Damon got going later in the half, hitting 3 or 4 shots there
And as referenced to earlier, Oberto and Horry played strong in their roles
And like said, the defense has been excellent

Great game! Manu was nuts again...I've got concerns as to how long Manu can keep this up, but it sure is fun to watch! Tony looked OK out there tonight...settled a lot for jump shots, but that's understandable as he's easing himself back into playing form. Timmy was playing with hustle and energy. What a dunk by Horry! Got a little worried there in the 4th, but Super Manu saved the day...

I don't know if Mike Breen was questioning JVG on Manu being the #2 SG in the league from a personal stand-point, or from being honorary and un-biased as a PBP guy, in bringing up D-Wade. But he was quite adamant and non-casual about it, which was strange, regardless. It's really not that bold of a statement to think Manu's the #2 SG in the league. Wade's still playing well and putting up the numbers, but he's not the same player because of injuries this season and is playing on a bad team.

Well Manu is tops among SG's in Hollinger's PER. So for those that deem that to be a valuable gauge of someone's effectiveness, he's the number one SG in the NBA this season.
I don't know (or particularly care) where he ranks amongst the NBA's elite, I just know there aren't many players I'd trade him for. He fits into our system perfectly and when he's on, there's not many players that are more exciting to watch.
