Some cool Fiesta merchandise is for sale for proceeds going to Spurs Give:
IF YOU'RE FROM HERE, YOU FEEL IT.
That compassion. That community. That unspoken bond between town and team. From the heart and through every hurdle. It’s what makes fans family and San Antonio home.
Introducing Spurs Are Amor—a love letter to the togetherness that sets us apart. Crafted by local artist and SA Is Amor creator, Martha Martinez Flores, this limited line blends our colorful culture and resilient spirit into something authentically S.A. and aesthetically Spurs. And best yet, every t-shirt sold will directly support the city it celebrates by benefitting Spurs Give.

This was so moving. Keldon was right in saying he had to smile to keep from crying. Glad that you he Watson family have a bit respite through their ordeal now:

Keldon's a real one. He gets it in terms of work ethic a giving back, setting important examples in both for the kids that benefit from this:
As a thank you to the school for allowing him to use their basketball facilities, Johnson donated a brand-new basketball shooting machine worth about $10,000.
“I didn’t have a shooting machine growing up," said Johnson. "If I could give any advice to these kids, it would be to take every single opportunity to get better. Come into the gym and work hard.”
Johnson puts in plenty of work in the offseason and uses the Lanier High School gym ever since his rookie season. He comes into the Lanier gym bright and early and stays late honing his craft.
It is that type of work ethic that Art Campos, Assistant Basketball Coach at Lanier, hopes his players will take from Johnson's example....
And he is grateful for Johnson's generosity.
Said Campos: "Gym access is not something they always have and a shooting machine isn't what they always have access to. This is big for them."
On hand was Keldon's brother, Kaleb. He says donating the basketball shooting machine and giving back to the San Antonio community was a dream for them.
"This is the dream Keldon and I always had growing up," said Johnson. "To give back to our local community which is San Antonio.”
Joseph Martinez, Head Basketball Coach of Boys Program, is already seeing a huge benefit it'll provide his players.
"It will help tremendously because it will help teach my boys how to shoot properly, with the arc it's kind of hard to imitate it," Martinez said. "It will teach my boys how to shoot and have that arc on the ball!"

I love how Keldon is immersing himself in the San Antonio community and culture. This is another important area of support he's giving his voice and attention to:

Great to see Manu (and I think that's Brian Wright in the mask) showing around two of our newest Spurs, this time to the SA Food Bank, an important mainstay for the food insecure, and an organization with an important relationship with the team:

A handful of Spurs helped out with the SA Food Bank initiative for Thanksgiving. Love that Zach has been so involved even he hasn't played yet. I think he'll a ton of nasty to our line-up when he's ready take the court:

Sweet. Love the involvement and impact. Interesting pairings, including the Derrick-Jakob bromance, and it's cool that Zach has been in the middle of so many off-court initiatives. Kids will always remember these interactions and when the baskets came:

Lots of team activity in the community of late, especially with Christmas coming soon. We start with Derrick at Morgan's Wonderland, an accessibility-focused park:
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! ❤️
@dwhite921 spread some holiday cheer at @morganswonderlandtexas last week, helping light up the Christmas tree and meet some Spurs fans!

While he recovers, Zach's been to an impressive with the community events he's lent his support to. I think he's been to more than any other Spur so far. Great to see him so involved and willing to contribute:
