Dragic, heard some things about him, but damn

Why not Hendrix or Walker?

I can't believe I said I was excited about this..

this year has been my biggest disappointment as a Spurs fan, which is something I became when I first started watching the NBA in 1997-1998(coincidentally TD's rookie year)..those losses to LA were disappointing, but I wasn't expecting wins in most of them..2004 had the infamous play and was definitely disappointing, but the 4 HOFers were the favorites..2006 was as well, but my expectations weren't AS high with the way Duncan was hurt during the regular season..

this year was it..17-3 start, looking like the most dominant team in the West..injuries killed the team, and we get eliminated by a rival in the conference finals..blow leads every game..and now when we NEED to get younger and pick up pieces that can immediately help, since 2 of our 3 best players are now in their 30's, we pick 2 **** PG's in the draft..we could have had something much better..

we now NEED to make some good FA signings at the wing and big man..or we need Mahinmi to be able to contribute next year with athleticism, which is possibly, but not a guarantee by any means..

frustrating..

WE had to make a homerun on this draft given that we don't have a first rounder next year and we seem to have struck out.

So... no SG/SF addressing at all... no additional youth up front (just Mahinmi)...

We best get to damn work in FA and trades... I mean, c'mon now, if we don't do much there then, I don't know what to say. The confidence in the FO would turn out to be a fluke, when it was perfectly legitimate in the first place given this team's situation going into the summer.

Well, we'll see what the 57 pick is... could be something (no it'll be another int'l player who doesn't come over next year)

Goran Dragic had his coming out party at the Eurobasket this summer, where all his strengths and weaknesses were exposed against Europe’s finest. Being loaned from Spanish powerhouse Tau Ceramica for the second year in a row, Dragic is still proving himself on the European scene

Hendrix is going to be one of the steals of this draft

another one of those good role-playing big men on both ends of the court

I became a fan of his a few weeks ago

I think that'll be a good pick by the Heat... athletic, long role-player who should be able to be a shooter in the NBA

It isn't saying much....

I guess Davon Jefferson would have been a nice project...

gist is intriguing, he improved big time last year, lets hope he stays hungry. could work out very well for us, a few mocks had him going early 2nd.

there is word out of arizona that the spurs have traded dragic to the suns for malik hairston, a 2009 2nd rounder, and cash. great trade IMO. i like dragic, but i also like hairston. throw in another 2nd rounder plus some cash for a swap id have been happy about straight up? works for me.
