But he put up terrific numbers with our G-League, too. And he was putting up terrific numbers with the Knicks G-League. Sure, he got injured, but why did they key him go as well? It wasn't ego (at least not in an arrogant sense, maybe a bit self-absorbed), it was lack of defensive effort when he was fighting for a spot. Giving up on D too much when he should have hauled ass and team mare issues are what did him in.

He's got a prototypical build and potential but it's what's between the ears and under the rib cage that keeps getting him cut.

Really hoped he would pan out but it's mostly on him it didn't.

Meanwhile, some of our G-League Spurs had great games themselves, starting with Blake. Glad he's back and getting all the reps he can handle.
