Well they miss a 3, we get fouled on a 3 attempt, but miss 2-3FTs. Still, better to be on this end than it being against us...

2ND Q: SPURS 63 JAZZ 56

Well we did a decent job on both end of Q scenarios and stayed ahead with our second 30+ point Q.

We are doing a terrific job attacking them inside for a 38-14 points in the paint advantage.

They are clearly trying to outscore us with 10 more FGAs overall and already 24 3s taken. They've made 9. We have left too many too open. Again.

We are only 3-9 from the arc so it's a clash of styles and execution. We are more efficient, but we have also left a lot of points on the court with missed bunnies. This game feels like it should have a wider margin than 7 points. Right glass angles - and using glass unless we absolutely can't - has to be there.

We're doing well running back on D, closing up the paint (except for some late possessions by them in this Q), and blocking their shots. We have a 6-0 block advantage. Terrific.

We must be careful about our TOs - we have 10 at the half on which we have given up FIFTEEN points to getting only 6 points off of their 8 TOs. Protect the ball better.

Malaki is making up for some inexperience and getting torched on where to be on D with some really nice O. He leads the bench with 12 on 5-6, 1-1 from 3, 1-1FT. Keldon leads us with 17 on 7-10, 0-2 from 33-4FTs.

They have a 24-21 overall rebounds edge with a sizeable 8-2 O board advantage. We MUST protect our boards. Box out.

Better communication, physicality, fundamentals on D and purposeful confident movement on O in the next half, please Spurs!
