2ND Q: SPURS 74 BLAZERS 74

I love when we score over 70 points as much as I loathe getting it scored on us. And yet here we are.

What a whirlwind of a half!

Ridiculous efficiency as our 20 assists so far attest.

Good O board fighting where we have a 6-4 edge.

We're doing well making 8-10FTs, though we need to make a more concerted effort getting to the FT line more - fakes, cuts, physicality.

We only have 6TOs but we have given up 5 more points off them, so running back on D is hugely important, all the more so given that we are down 12-0 in fast break points.

Making sure we deny passes to their main scorers and that we press more as they bring the ball up to curtail easy downhill movement are crucial for us.

Everyone who has taken a shot has scored, though the bench has seven of our eight 3s. Getting more 3s from the starters will help us. Jakob has taken the fewest FGAs from all the starters so lets get him a bit more involved. But the bench has been wonderful with movement and passing and scoring to our strengths, leading theirs 36-19!

If we can just string together some stops...

What absolute crappy spacing there - We get the D board, Sochan pushed down the middle, over dribbles with team mates on the wings passes to Jakob right beside him who bobbles the ball and we TO it.

Romeo had that pass into the post for Collins in mind all the length of the court. Collins set up in the post and got the foul, made both FTs. Smart smart basketball. We need to get them into more foul trouble.
