1ST Q: SPURS 31 HAWKS 32

If nothing else, this Q alone shows how good and how important Sochan is. Terrific disruption on D, great ball movement, terrific court vision, and a variety of scoring.

Leads us with 11, and frankly they're so easily within our flow.

We hit 8 of last 12 to finish the Q so the chances are there.

We had 15 boards but gave up 4 on O so we have to be extra careful about finding their ball hunters.

We have 8 assists so terrific ball sharing, but also 7 TOs already(!) so again, let's clean it up.

Maybe its because of the awfulness of what I had to listen to last night with the homer Piston announcers.

I'm actually very impressed with Dominque Wilkens. He pays attention to players from both teams and gives nice honest praise or criticism on both sides.

I don't know if you noticed but if you didn't follow the league closely listening to Detroit's announcers, you wouldnt even know who's on our team...

We'll have to live through Collins' mistakes as he gets used to the extra load. But he's doing a lot of little things for us on both ends - swiping at balls, grabbing O boards, sealing his man in the post, running the floor well. Solid.
