I love how he embraced and immersed himself in SA and Spurs culture and has this whole other side(s) that gets eyes.

That is one thing that amazes me with Wemby. He is amazingly mature and well adjusted which is crazy for someone who had the amount of attention he has gotten from the age of 15.

He's already a more + player than Keldon, improving, on a rookie contract, and does not share a jersey number with the guy we just signed lol

Keldon was replaced as starter by Champagnie. He's a $20M 6th man.

One of the biggest reasons I want us to trade for DeRozan or Ingram is so I never hear the words "Champagnie and starter" in the same sentence ever again........

I like Champagnie but he should only be a starter in an emergency, never the first option. He is a backup and luckily he is paid as such and that is where he should stay. I am not above giving Julian a contract like Tre's if he shoots 45/38/85 but he has to show that over a whole season, not just a run of 5-10 games with that form.

So Nunez isn't coming over until at least next season, then?

Draft and stash for hopefully not too long. I suppose this means extra cap room and roster spot configurations are that much freer. Looking forward to tracking his progress:

Wow wtf... More brain drain. That's a weird move to go from high FO position (I believe he was GM of Austin Spurs, too) to be an assistant coach. Surprised we couldn't have found a spot for him on our bench but we don't know the goings on behind the scenes.
