I LOVE how Pop often uses guys coming off the floor at teachable moments and then encourages the player before he sits.

Him and Bassey. There's some stipulation about how many games two-way players can play before their contracts are converted so we just have to be under I think 24 or 25. After the next couple of games I expect both to then get a lot more burn.

Have to check when the Austin Spurs season finishes, so that's a factor, too, but yeah in general looking forward to them being our bench tandem as they have been in Austin.

3RD Q: SPURS 83 PISTONS 91

Another Q, another 30+ point Q given up, though if there were ever a game to go lightly on the criticism it's this one, though I'm sure Pop would disagree.

We loathe it but we have to learn to play better. We made three 3s to their none, but we've allowed increasing efficiency with way too many points in the paint.

We had 6TOs by half and 8 in the 3RD Q alone so regardless of who is playing we have a weird tendency to bleed these.

We need to protect the ball better, and get some energy and cohesiveness going again.
