Interesting that order in which we signed everyone affects the amount of cap space we have:

Re: SPURS 2023 OFF-SEASON NEWS
Wait so this contradicts earlier info on NBA.com (since updated to reflect below) which had the other two teams trading 2nds to one another.
These details have us trading three 2nds in total for RB and a 2030 1st pick swap with Dallas which I assume is still unprotected:

Re: SPURS 2023 OFF-SEASON NEWS
Already with Nike even before NBA, this is another of what will surely be many select endorsements with Wemby:
https://www.expressnews.com/sports/spurs/article/wembanyama-lands-major-endorsement-deal-18198921.php
“I’m conscious of the ingredients I put into my body to ensure I stay healthy and perform at the highest level,” Wembanyama said. “The partnership with Barcode allows me not only to be a spokesmodel, but a role model. I want to be elite, on and off the court, and want my body to be the healthiest it has ever been. That's why I chose Barcode over anything else.”
Wembanyama will play a "vital role in sharing Barcode’s fundamental values, as well as participating in their philanthropic initiatives," according to the release. The 19-year-old Frenchman has an equity investment in the company, will be involved with research and development on future products and will appear as the face of the brand in digital, out of home and in-store advertising, according to the release.

Re: SPURS 2023 OFF-SEASON NEWS
Rough news keeps coming for some of the Euro teams for the WC this summer. They're all gearing up for the Olympics next summer. Pop's been through it himself so he's seen both sides of it. Priorities are for the bigger picture for all involved so something has to give in the short term. Happy for us for the short and long term though.

Well, we really don't have a choice now. We cant tell Wemby not to play but let other guys do it.

I think if Wemby insisted we wouldn't prevent it but since he's been playing from last September to about a month ago he realizes that toll already. So the upcoming 82 game+ season with Olympics looming made for a frank discussion about what's best obvious. Thank goodness he's a reasonable, thoughtful, coachable young man who is mature enough to make a tough decision for the long term good.
Sochan, too, as he's been great for Poland but Paris 2024 takes precedence. Seeing as how he's already been through a regular season once, the grind of a summer to summer schedule is all the more real. Even Jokic declined to do it after having gone through the experience (maybe Luka as well, but don't recall if that's accurate. If he didn't decline there was talk of fatigue from such a long pro and national commitment).
Anyway, I'm glad both of our young guys made this decision.

Re: SPURS 2023 OFF-SEASON NEWS
Great locker room vet. Knows how to play. Can stretch the floor. I hope he finds a good landing spot he likes and can contribute to. Can it still be us?
I do wonder about bigs vet presence now. Collins is the oldest, most seasoned big we have now, right?
Maybe we don't worry about it for Wemby with David and Timmy around but they're not with the team all the time. Pop is, though, and Wemby said he could follow him with his eyes closed.
Maybe we still make some moves to address it.
