Anyone else thinks he's gone? He asked for a trade in February but didn't get it. He didn't play much in the playoffs. I doubt he wants to stay given that the reason he asked for a trade was to get more playing time and it's not looking like he'll get it here.

Personally, I liked him last year in the regular season. Stopped liking him in the playoffs. But this year, I simply hate him. I hate pretty much everything about his game and his attitude. Okay, he's not a cancer, but it's that he thinks he's more than he really is. Guys at his age (30) IMO should already know what they are and play within their ability. Mason does not.

He thinks he's a PG by saying he likes playing that position more and talk about liking having the ball in his hands. Yet he can't run the offense, don't have a good enough court vision, and can't get us into a running game. Even his ballhandling is average at best. I don't know what his PG skills are other than being able to walk the ball upcourt without being pressured.

Offensively, he contributes nothing than as a spot up shooter, but for whatever reason he goes away from that. Mason likes to dribble the ball and play the pick and roll, then end the play by pulling up for a 3 point 25 foot jumpshot which he miss.

I would really like to see where he ends up next year or if he ends up anywhere at all.

He'll find a roster spot in the NBA. As long as it's not with us, I'm fine with it.

He's gone and I kinda wanted to keep him around. When given consistent minutes he's a really good offensive player off the bench. But with our defensive struggles this year we never really found a spot for him in our rotation. Someone will pick him up for sure.
