58 mil cap

Post#1 » by SApuro_ » Thu Jul 8, 2010 4:56 am

Ok so with the cap higher than expected where does that leave us?

According to Hoopshype we are at 52mil right now. Do we have enough to offer Splitter a 5 mil multi-year contract and get Shaq for the MLE along with Barnes for LE and resign RJ.

Just curious what the unexpected higher cap space means for our team.

if ur under the cap not exceeding the MLE then u only have that amount...

if ur under cap but less then MLE, u can elect to use the MLE..

its either one only, cant have both....man

so spurs is going to throw splitter MLE, LLE to shaq if his willing to play for that amount...

The cap is $58 and we have now $52..So, do we have $6 to spend in some player+MLE+LLE+Re-sign Jefferson, Bonner, Mason?
I'm not saying we should do that, just asking if we can do it..

I would never re-sign Mason and if we get Shaq, I wouldn't re-sign Bonner..

Udrih14 just answered that question... Frankie, you're asking the same question as Sapuro.
