Was hoping to see Blair play but turns out he's taking the day off.
Not liking Jerrells. It's only been 3 minutes of game time since I turn on the TV and he already commited 3 turnovers and a missed technical free throw. He's supposed to be the PG

This kid Gary Neal has not missed. Has a nice shooting stroke but he looks really small on the court and he doesn't play the PG. Have to check out what his size is.

Alonzo Gee has been aggresive in attacking the rim but shots not falling.

I like Gee. Only saw the 4th quarter and his shots not falling, but he is attacking the rim every time he touched the ball and statistically, he's doing a lot of things. got 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. All of those leads the team.

Well our team won this game with their defense combined with efficient scoring and a lot of guys had a good night in very limited minutes.
Cardell Johnson had 4 assists and 4 steals in 8 minutes.
Dwayne Mitchell had 12 points on 4-4 shooting, 3 steals in 8 minutes
Gary Neal had 11 points on 4-4 shooting in 14 minutes.
Defensively, we hold the Twolves to a 36.5% FG shooting while we shot 51%.
Spurs win 85-61. Game had a lot of turnovers thou. A LOT!

Is there any reason why Anderson is not playing?
Richards?

No contracts.

Anderson isn't playing because of a hamstring injury that happen even before he was drafted. RC mentioned stuff about Anderson not playing in the summer league because the most important thing right now is to get him healthy so when the season comes around there's not gonna be any lingering injuries.
Richards, I have no idea. I was expecting him to play too.
And Hairston I have no idea too. Sounds like the Spurs decide Hairston doesn't need the summer league anymore and that he already has a fan in San Antonio (Pop). Whatever that means...

Richards still has a contract with his team in Switzerland. The coaching staff doesn't want Hairston in the summer league because he's done two summer leagues with them and played in the D-League as well as with the Spurs.

Up and ready to watch the Blair plays. He dominated summer league last year so anything less this year will be disappointing. Honestly, I expect Blair to put up the best numbers in every summer league games he plays. Can't wait.

Went to sleep because I was tired of waiting.
Reading from articles, it seems it's Jerrells and Gee are the ones who shined yesterday. Jerrells outplayed Jeff Teague and basically shut him down while Gee put up impressive statlines.
I'm not liking Jerrells so far because I think he's been very turnover proned.
The guy that I think surprised the coaching staff is Gary Neal. I mistaken him the other day with Cardell Johnson so I was wondering how small he is. Turns out he's not Gary Neal. Gary Neal is pretty built and through 2 games has shown he can stroke it from deep. Didn't get many minutes in 1st game but he got like 35 minutes (out of 40) of playing time and really shot the ball well. Looks like the Spurs are taking notice of him.
