Predictions for record and playoff seeding

Post#1 » by David_Robinson » Fri Jul 16, 2010 9:06 pm

I believe it is a good time to make some predictions on where the Spurs record will stand at the end of the upcoming season and which playoff seed the team will occupy.

Ill start this off with my predictions.

2010/2011 San Antonio Spurs record: 53 wins 29 losses

2010/2011 San Antonio Spurs playoff seed: 6th seed

Barring injury, the Lakers have already got the top seed wrapped up.

From there, anything can happen. If the Rockets are healthy, they'll be up there. Ditto to the Blazers.

Anywhere from 2nd to 7th seed would not surprise me.

Providing we're reasonably healthy, I think 56 wins and the 3rd seed.

It just hit me today, how the hell do we get swept by the Suns. How embarrassing.

I hope Pop plays Splitter, Hill, and Blair big mins because they are the future of this team. TD and Manu have way too many miles on them. TP was amazing two yrs ago but banged up last yr so not really sure what to expect.
