Are you dead?

Why's this board lacking on fans? Won a championship two years ago, think they'd have more!

Yes. We're dead.

BTW, we won 3 years ago.

Dude, San Antonio only is 2 million strong but we manage a solid 5 fans on this board. And I'm sure out of the 5 at least 2 of us don't even live in SA. I'm in San Diego right now.

The topic of the inactivity of our board seems to be a bi or tri-annual occurrence. Usually started by a Suns fan as well.

The Spurs have never attracted bandwagoners, even when we were winning titles semi-annually. Our style was labeled boring and casual ball fans stayed away. I like it that way, and I've never found our style boring.

I'd hate to be a Laker fan for example, because they attract not only bandwagoners for the team itself, but Kobe has his own legion of nuthuggers as well. That must annoy the crap out of the "real" Laker fans.

Also, as mentioned there are pretty big followings on Spurstalk and numerous other single team fan sites.

I come to RGM because I like to mix it up with fans of other teams from time to time, avoiding suspensions wherever possible.

We need to resurrect this board? Any ideas?

Regular game threads?

The offseason will always be less active than the season.

Regular game threads would be good I guess, though it's a bit tougher to get hyped for a game against say, Indiana in the middle of January. No offense to Pacer fans.

I don't post a lot, but i'm here to help as much as possible with news and stuff. I guess most of the Spurs fans are in ST.

btw, i'm a spur fan from Brazil (São Paulo). It's rare, really rare ..hahahaha

The good thing is that i'm able to translate news from Splitter or even Manu since i speak Spanish as well.

Here in Brazil all we have are bandwagoners. It's all about the Bulls, the Lakers and now the Heat.
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Yo, why couldn't you say Toronto? Only a few of them leave the Toronto board. They have more posts than the General Discussion board.
