I was wondering if the Spurs still hold this guy's rights? I think he would be a perfect fit for the Raptors. Could his rights be had for a second rounder?
If anyone has followed him, what do think of him as an NBA prospect. He looks like a pretty strong shotblocker/banger. Could he play center?

I think the Spurs would happily trade his rights for a 2nd round pick. It is exceedingly likely he will never come over, being a) already over 30, and b) having just signed a 2 year contract...
As far as an NBA prospect, I think he would (when younger) have done fine. Even after his motorcycle accident he remains an athlete for a 7 ft player. He has significant physical strength and plays tough. He would be a either a good backup or a poor starter at C in the NBA (think Francisco Elson with more muscle and less jumper).

He's all yours. I really doubt he ever comes over to the NBA.

Thanks for the thoughts. I think it is quite low odds that he comes over now, but I was thinking with the Raps having Kleiza, he might be willing to make the leap. He looks like a good banger and he seems like a starter for the Raptors helping Bargnani move to the four.

I really doubt he could be a starter in the NBA, heck I doubt he could be a rotation player in the NBA.
