Not a big suprise considering the love affair Pops had with Vaughn when he was still playing. But I think he'll make a great assistant, he's a smart guy who really knows the game.
Jacque Vaughn was formally added to San Antonio's bench as an assistant coach on Friday.
“We didn't really have a spot for him — I just made it up,” Gregg Popovich said. “That's how badly we wanted him. We didn't want to lose him to someone else.”
